The LY1-C40 40kA AC SPD single phase surge protective device (SPD) is highly suitable for 220V AC 50/60HZ power supply systems, including TN-S, TN-C-S, TT, and IT configurations. Designed in strict accordance with IEC61643-1 and GB18802.11 standards, it is typically installed at the boundary of LPZ1 or LPZ2 and LPZ3 zones. Featuring a standard 35mm din rail installation, the device is built with a failure release module. In the event of a breakdown due to overheating or over-current, the failure release automatically disconnects the SPD from the power system, activating an indicator signal: Green denotes normal operation, while Red indicates a fault.
Typically installed on the joint of LPZ1 or LPZ2 and LPZ3. It is ideal for household distribution boards, computer hardware setups, information systems, general electronic equipment, and inside socket boxes positioned directly in front of or near control equipment.
